Yes. We feed it free choice to cattle and horses successfully. We know of users who have also fed it to goats
We have not yet found any plant it does not help-Grasses of all kinds, fruit trees, garden plants, flowers, pasture meadows, house plants.
Yes. Users have reported good results and no problems with mixing herbicide and Sea Minerals. We suggest trying a small amount of each in a bucket first. Some users have reported that the good grass comes back faster when Sea Minerals is included.
We have never added nitrogen with the Sea Minerals and have done very well. A healthy plant getting all the other nutrients that it needs will get all the nitrogen it needs out of the air.
Yes
You can begin applying Sea Minerals as soon as there is growth on the plants (4-6 inches). We use a standard pasture sprayer with a cluster nozzle. A sprayer with a boom can also be used. SEA MINERALS FA CANNOT EASILY BE DISSOLVED IN A BUCKET BECAUSE IT IS SO CONCENTRATED. (Think of trying to stir 1 cup of sugar into 1 glass of iced tea. It won't work). For large sprayers, we use a wire mesh basket (you can see it on the website). This basket is put into the fill opening of your sprayer. To construct it, measure the opening diameter and make your basket accordingly. It should measure 8-10 inches deep. 1/8" welded hardware cloth works well. We used heavy nylon fishing line to sew it together. Put a bottom in the basket of the same wire. A gallon bucket will hold approximately 7 pounds of Sea Minerals when filled within 3/4 inch of the top. Running water through the mineral in this basket quickly dissolves it. We put the basket in the fill opening of the sprayer, put in some of the Sea Minerals (1 gallon equals approximately 7 pounds) and begin to fill with water. Refill the basket as needed. The Sea Minerals will be dissolved before the tank is nearly full. In the small sprayer for garden and lawn, put half the amount of water, add the Sea Minerals and shake the sprayer. Then add the remainder of the water.
